Flock Public Beta Now Live - Rmail

The Flock Browser version 1.0 is now available for public beta. You can download it here. I got a chance to get in early, and was pretty happy with the browser’s new features. You can see my review here. It’s integration with social networks and its associated media makes for easy sharing across networks, email, and even for simple search purposes.

I’m excited to see how the general public will use the new version of Flock, and see if it can finally live up to its hype. I’m also interested to see how adopters will utilize Flock for their own social browsing purposes. With the level of browser plug-ins available for more widely adopted tools like Firefox and IE, we’ll see if Flock makes a dent in the larger industry, and how plug-ins can further extend the capabilities of Flock’s services.
