Microsoft’s Project Gatineau, the company’s answer to Google Analytics, is now available for beta testing. This is private beta, however, and is only available for US users. Click here to submit your request for an invite.

We first mentioned Gatineau here, when a sneak peek was offered along with slides last month. Some of its key features include click and visitor tracking reports, marketing campaign reporting and conversion tracking, and unique demographic and geographic information for site visitors.

This free service can be used by advertisers alongside adCenter, which also received a few upgrades today.
