Microsoft adCenter Gets Upgraded - Rmail

Microsoft’s adCenter has just added a few new features for its upgrade, aimed at helping you better manage your ad campaigns. With adCenter’s Platform involvement with Microsoft’s deal with Facebook, improvements for adCenter are expected.

There are some editorial upgrades, which are the most important for this release. You’ll now get immediate editorial feedback on ads and keywords, which basically helps you make sure you’ve gotten everything right the first time around. This particular tool will help you as you create your ad, verifying that all the required fields have been completed, that you haven’t exceeded any length limits, and that the display and URL are formatted correctly.

Hopefully this will help you save some time in the creation of your ads, as changes can be made before your ads are submitted. What’s helpful about this new upgrade is that new or modified keywords that have been changed will show the status as either “New” or “Error.” Scrolling over the error status will give you the specifics on how your keyword needs to be adjusted.

There’s also the ability to view disapproved ad and keywords associations, which is another way of resolving your issues before they become actual issues. Some of the other new features include daily budget options for campaign management, default dynamic text, and campaign import, which is compatible with AdWords Editor output. Lastly, there are new reporting tools, for recent reports and templates, drag’n'drop re-ordering of your report column, and the display of totals and averages.

Any information on the keyword selection for Facebook spots through adCenter? Target by groups, interests, location, age, universities - this should open some new verticals for advertising. Also, I would like to see a dashboard of the analytics for comparison to AdWords. However, I have yet to locate any users of Microsoft's platform.
