Facebook is set to make their Application Directory viewable to the entire web, including search engines. The hope is that this will increase visibility for all apps, and their designers.

Users that are not logged in, or people who just stumble in from search engines, will see the apps information page, and be able to read the discussion in the lower half of the page. Facebook will, however, maintain privacy for all by displaying all users first names only, and the display pic will only be shown if the user allows it in their privacy setting.

The directory is currently being indexed by sites like Yahoo!, Google, and Windows Live, with the results appearing in the directories over the next couple of days.
