Google listens to its users. In what seems to be a week full of helpful updates for Google apps, the company has added labels to Google Notebook. Each note can be labeled for better search and organization of your content. So in addition to sorting your notes by date, they can also be filtered by label.

The application also imports all the labels and web pages from Google Bookmarks and adds them to a new note called Unfiled. If you add a new note here, it will in fact create a new bookmark.

In addition, Google Notebook’s extension was also updated. Selecting text from a web page can be added as a note by clicking on the new small star that’s on the bookmarking tool. What will be helpful for some is the integration of Google Notebooks and Bookmarks, but it’s been noted that it’s not entirely implemented in the most convenient manner, especially in terms of the interface.

Additionally, Google Notebook will also be adding offline support via Google Gears in the near future, so notes and bookmarks can be accessed when you’re not connected. See here for more productivity modules for iGoogle.

Google's Marketing Plan Step 1: Make silly duplicate content standard which auto-smacks anything running on a blog platform Step 2: Kill everyones pagerank, but not it's own or those of it's acquisitions, investments and partners Step 3: Offer new features so tons of people rush to try them out and hopefully forget that their anus is hurting
