Utterz, the mobile blogging community launched by RPM Communications, has just inducted the blogosphere’s very own Chris Brogan into their board of advisers. Chris is the founder of the PodCamp unconference series, blogger at his personal domain of ChrisBrogan.com, and frequent public speaker on topics of social media and various New Media technologies.
It’s possible you may not have heard of him, as his postings tend to be less news related, and more focused on the philosophy, technology, and sociological implications of social media, social networking and New Media. He is virtually required reading for anyone involved in the Web 2.0 space, though, so it’s a safe bet that your favorite blog author has heard of him and read him regularly.
Given the commitment to listening to the user and evolving the company to fit their needs that Utterz has gone far beyond just giving lip-service to, this is a good fit, and Utterz will certainly benefit from the guidance of Brogan on their advisory board. Congratulations to all involved.
I recently had Utterz CEO Michael Bayer on with me at Mashable Conversations, and we spoke quite extensively on this topic of truly being a user-centric social media company (and about 15 minutes further on the topic after the recording ended).

User comment: By: chrisbroganWell, you know I heart you *and* Mashable, so I'm really grateful for the coverage. I think the folks at Utterz are doing some neat stuff, and I think they're kind to let me get in and poke and beg and reflect what I think might be useful. Happy to help. : )
