Fueling the Facebook Music Rumors - Rmail

More fuel for the rumors surrounding Facebook Music. It’s being mentioned in the blogosphere that the social network may actually be announcing the new platform next week at ad:tech NYC.

We’ve heard for some time now that Facebook’s been in low key meetings with all major record labels, but here are some reported details of how the music store would actually work: music labels get a registered sub-domain on Facebook, similar to how applications get sub-domains.

Then Facebook users can essentially connect with musicians as fans, and get access to the media that’s found on individual artists’ pages. This would offer a direct line between artists and fans, for the distribution of music, videos, and images.

Then of course, there would be marketing and media promotion, which sounds like a deeper integration with the upcoming Facebook ad network. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for an official word from Facebook.

A hint that Facebook is in talks with record labels, on Facebook's job's page under the position "Software Engineer, new grad," the position lists "Great taste in music" as a bonus point. http://colgate.facebook.com/jobs/#Software%20Engineer,%20New%20Grad

"It's being mentioned in the blogosphere that the social network has actually announcing the new platform next week at ad:tech NYC." This sentence is so bad I don't know where to start: 1) Unnecessary passive voice. 2) Totally unnecessary use of the word "blogosphere" (hint: it's never necessary). 3) No links to any of the various mentions (plenty of links to Mashable, though). 4) "Has actually announcing"? Can't decide what tense or construction to use? Will it be the future or the past?
